Sometimes described as a French press on steroids, the Clover brewing machine at Ottawa's Bridgehead on Dalhousie offers a superb cup of coffee. This is one of only four machines in Canada (as of May 2007), and the only one east of Vancouver.

The store's manager Kyla Ramsey (pictured above with the Clover machine) gives me a personal demonstration and tells me what makes a Clover coffee so special.
